Bill Coyle began his career in Broken Arrow Public Schools in 1979 as a teacher. He had the pleasure to teach students in various subject areas such as language arts, debate, speech, yearbook, advanced placement composition as well as serve as academic coach and speech and debate coach. He was named Broken Arrow Teacher of the Year in 1998. He served as various administrative leadership roles in Broken Arrow including Executive Director for Secondary Instruction. In July of 2000 he joined the central office administration in Bixby under the guidance of Dr. Mary Jane Bias. He served under Dr. Bias and Dr. Kyle Wood during his career at Bixby. In all he has devoted 35 years to serving students and directing the education of students. His education training consists of a Bachelor of Science in education (1974) from Tulsa University; a Masters of Arts in Curriculum and Supervision (1982) and additional coursework from Oklahoma State University, Administrator Leadership Academy, TCP Process Facilitator Training from Ohio State University, as well as extensive training in School Budget, Finance, and Employee Relations and Negotiations.
